“On the Table,” presented by Good Effort Projects, is a group exhibition and art sale fundraiser supporting Metro Caring, an organization dedicated to addressing food insecurity in Denver. Held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 from 6–8 pm, the event featured a display of small works donated by local artists, creating an intimate and approachable viewing experience. Guests participated in a silent auction from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, with artwork starting prices between $50 and $100, encouraging both new and seasoned collectors to engage while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Co-organized by participating artists Kevin Baer and Alex Konno, the event was born from a desire to make conversations around hunger more immediate and human, using the shared symbolism of the table as a place of nourishment, connection, and community. By inviting artists to contribute small, personal works, the exhibition emphasizes accessibility and collective effort, reinforcing the idea that impactful support can come in many forms. More than just a fundraiser, “On the Table” serves as a gathering point where art, generosity, and social awareness come together to create tangible local impact.
